If the car loses internet connection, the navigation system can still work. However, this feature is only available for high-end versions of the Lexus ES 2023. 


Meanwhile, a new cloud-based navigation feature provides real-time traffic and road information, including local fuel prices and parking. The "Hey Lexus" in-vehicle assistant responds to audio commands, including spoken text. Lexus also upgraded the vehicle's data communication module, giving the ES the ability to connect to the internet to use e-Care.

 This is a remote diagnostic service, and using the Lexus Link smartphone app can remotely lock or unlock doors, operate hazard lights, and set the air conditioner to settings such as car owner's wishes. Especially the Lexus ES 2023 also has a modified central control platform. The clunky touchpad to control the screen is gone, in their place is now a pair of cup holders

Voice commands have also been improved for the 2023 model. The central entertainment screen can connect to Apple CarPlay wirelessly. and Android Auto wired. Enabling the means of communication with mobile and web networks worldwide is an enhanced data transfer module (DCM).


According to Toyota's luxury car brand, it allows connection to e-Care - a diagnostic service that collects vehicle condition inspection reports, then shares the data with Lexus, which can then transfer it to their dealers if there is any problem with the ES. DCM allows drivers to remotely find their vehicle through a separate app and use certain functions, such as locking or unlocking doors, turning hazard lights on/off, and heating or cooling the cabin before starting. operating (turn on the air conditioner).



Other changes on the Lexus ES 2023 include a new Rich Cream color interior that replaces Ammonite Sand color. In addition, the European market will have a new F Sport Design variant. ES 2023 F Sport is equipped with 19-inch black wheels, comes with F Sport Design badge and 10 exterior paint color options and 4 interior color options.


Starting production in August, the first Lexus ES 2023 cars are expected to arrive at dealers in Europe in October this year. The official selling price has not been announced yet.
